CARBON
American/Hungarian/International
Champion Veresi Szeder Szultan

Carbon was a stud fee puppy from Ciggy's second litter. I liked the litter so well I bought a second puppy. Their Dam was Canadian Champion Martonvolgyi Eszes, "Dorka", owned by Nora Telegdi. Carbon and his sister Kormos were gorgeous puppies; Kormi had a group placing before she was a year old. Carbon won Senior Sweeps at the National, and Winners Dog. Kormi won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners; they were thirteen months of age. This was the first National in which Ciggy-get were entered. Another Ciggy puppy was Best in Junior Sweeps, and yet another Best in Regular Puppy Classes. The following day at the supported entry, two different Ciggy get won Winners Dog and Bitch. Ciggy was too young to go as a Special, so we joked that the biggest winner of the National weekend stayed home.

Four months later we sent Carbon to Olajos Istvan and Starkbauer Gabriella in Budapest. Three weeks after his arrival, Carbon won CAC and CACIB at the Spring FCI show in Budapest. Carbon was the top winning Puli in Hungary that year, 1984. He is a Top Producing Puli Sire from his get from before he left for Hungary. In addition, some of his get were imported to the United States, among them Ch. Hupajtas Iluska, "Lucy", owned by Pam and Paul Barbro.

The photo of Carbon above shows him at eleven months of age. It is a perfect photo of a young Puli. His self-cording coat form is evident in the photo, as well as his squareness and good shoulder. Carbon's mother Dorka is a daughter of Int/Hung/BKHCH Somkovari Morcos Bojtar. Bojtar is also the sire of Ciggy's dam, making Carbon a double Bojtar grandson.
